Today was unproductive.
I finished Awakening, slept, woke up and found that there was no food left for me and then finished Garden Dash. It was my turn to clean the CR but I threw a not-so-serious tantrum and told them they would have to feed me first. My brother ended up doing the chore. Haha.
But if there was one thing I did today that I like the most, it's that I finished reading Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach. I've already read it back when I was in grade school for a book report. I even watched the movie. But due to my unwillingness to do anything of value to human society, I decided to read it again. I didn't realize it had an allusion to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. :P
Anyway, I've been wanting to read again. Though I am not a fan of Dahl's and this book really is not among those I prefer, the point is I was able to read.
I remember saying to myself that once I get a job, I'd allot a portion of my salary on books. I'm not employed yet (heck, I haven't even graduated yet haha) but I'd try my best to stick by my word.
Nicholas Sparks, Jodi Picoult, Cecilia Ahern, Sophie Kinsella, etc, just you wait. :P
