Bored of ordinary online thesauri? Well, here's a link to an interactive thesaurus I stumbled upon. I've only used it a couple of times but I find it fun and really helpful. Just to show you its interface, here's a photo:
It looks like a web of words. When you point the cursor on the red dots, the definition of the synonyms/related words will appear. You can also hear the pronunciation of the words.
Visual Thesaurus has an online which is free and a desktop edition which is for sale . I haven't really looked into the system requirements but here's a link to how the program works.
Also, if you're into spelling like me, Visual Thesaurus' website also features a spelling bee. Save for the accent that makes it difficult to distinguish some words, it's really fun. It's a good way to enrich your vocabulary too. Go give it a try. :)
